Central Woodworking has been established in Paphos since 1980 and is well known for manufacturing their own quality furniture and kitchens as well as importing a large range of furniture.  Also available is a wide selection of garden furniture.  Mr Phitos Christodoulou is the owner and maintains a 'hands-on' approach, involving all aspects of the business, including training of his staff to a high level of proficiency.  Phitos believes that product knowledge and courtesy are vital.  Central Woodworking�s clients will definately notice that the prices are very competitive.  Central Woodworking also provides custom design and manufacture of kitchens.

The history of Central Woodworking goes back to 1938 when Phitos' father began a small business in the city of Paphos dealing mostly with general woodwork, namely projects dealing with the home: doors, windows, kitchen- furniture. 

Phitos became involved in the family business early on in life at the young age of 12 years old, under the supervision of  his father a master craftsman. For many years he stood by his fathers side, helping him, learning the art of woodwork and nurturing a love for his profession.  In England and Canada,  Phitos worked in various companies learning new techniques and modern methods of production.  The knowledge he acquired he brought back to Cyprus with him  and incorporated new methods and styles of production into his business,  enabling him to make Central Woodworking into the high standard of company it is today.  Phitos built Central Woodworking with his knowledge, experience and love of furniture, he prides himself in knowing what the needs of the consumer are.

Every year there are furniture exhibitions all over Europe and Phitos attends these in Italy, Belgium, Spain, Greece and Germany, thus importing many new and exciting items for his showrooms.  He was the first supplier of glue-edged and 3-ply pine in Cyprus, which revolutionised the Cypriot market for the production of wood furniture.  Whatever is new and innovative you can be sure that Phitos will be there to supply these to you.
